James 1:19-20

19 This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; 20 for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God.James 1:19-20

After Thought

The scriptures state that there are times when we will become angry over situations or circumstances, but we must not allow the anger to be of long duration. Anger that is not resolved through reconciliation or forgiveness causes bitterness, that like a root, invades and destroys subtly other healthy areas of one’s life.~ Pastor Bob Barnett
