Revelation 4:6

Revelation 4:6

Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal.

After Thought

The sea of glass symbolizes purity before God. Where else would a faithful dog want to be? It is where we should want to be as well.

Psalm 25:6

Psalm 25:6

Remember, LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old.

After Thought

Past mercies form a ground for the expectation of future blessings. God's character cannot change; his action as one time will always be consistent and harmonious with his action at another.

Matthew 2:2

Matthew 2:2

Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose, and we have come to worship him.

After Thought

Ponder this for a moment. The Almightiness of God moved in a human arm. The love of God now beat in a human heart. The wisdom of God now spoke from human lips. The mercy of God reached forth from human hands. God was always a God of love, but when Christ came to the earth, love was wrapped in human flesh.

After Thought

God provides a safe place and healing for those abused by this fallen world.
