Zechariah 7:9

Zechariah 7:9

Thus has the Lord of hosts said, "Dispense true justice and practice kindness and compassion each to his brother;"

After Thought

Kindness and compassion are acts that are tangible. Pugs show their affection by resting their head on a person. It is a vulnerable act that communicates their message.

Psalm 71:9

Psalm 71:9

Do not cast me away when I am old; do not forsake me when my strength is gone.

After Thought

His faithful friend bore with him the burdens of youth and now he faithfully bears the burdens of her old age. She still gets to go where he goes. A true testament of love and friendship that mirrors God's promise that "He will never leave us nor forsake us." (Deuteronomy 31:6)
