Isaiah 63:14

Isaiah 63:14

As the cattle which go down into the valley, the Spirit of God gave them rest. So You led Your people, to make for Yourself a glorious name.

After Thought

To have a good name is to have a good reputation. God's actions are a revelation of who God is. He is good and loving all the time.

Jude 1:2

Jude 1:2

May mercy and peace and love be multiplied to you.

After Thought

Our pets have a way of communicating these three expressions of God. They provide unconditional love the moment we walk in the door. They are merciful always ready to forgive us with the wag of a tail, and they supply peace by quiet companionship.

God has created so many ways to reveal to us His attributes.

Proverbs 19:11

Proverbs 19:11

Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense.

After Thought

The goal of every Christian is to overcome evil with good. The Bible does not say we will never be justified in being angry, but that anger does not give us excuse to sin, nor is it to be of long duration. The Bible says, "In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry." (Ephesians 4:26)

1 Corinthians 15:49

1 Corinthians 15:49

Just as we have borne the image of the earthy, we will also bear the image of the heavenly.

After Thought

This dog is a humorous reminder that we all bear two images. The first is the obvious image of mankind that is temporal. The second is eternal. We carry in us the image of our Father in heaven.

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.

After Thought

Like this mighty Tiger wraps his paws around this man, Jesus wraps His eternal love, mercy, grace and kindness around all those who call on His mighty name! Regardless of our choices He never leaves us or forsakes us!

Greet one another with a kiss of love. Peace be to you all who are in Christ.

After Thought

If you have men who will exclude any of God's creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men.
