Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.
God calls us to comfort people in the same way He so faithfully brings comfort to us. There is comfort in His presence that watches over us for our well being.
Have you given the horse its strength or clothed its neck with a flowing mane?
When Job was questioning God's wisdom God replied to Job speaking of His power and the wisdom displayed throughout creation. Job needed to have a bigger perspective. We see life as if through a keyhole.
But now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander, and dirty language.
I know from personal experience how damaging it can be to live with bitterness and unforgiveness. I like to say it's like taking poison and hoping your enemy will die. And it really is that harmful to us to live this way.
