After Thought

The Hebrew word describing Elijah literally means "lord of hair." It is believed he dressed differently than others to show contempt for the accepted norms of the time. He purposefully stood out in the crowd.

Isaiah 54:4

Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.

We do not have anything to fear at the final destination of life. Jesus has gone before us to prepare a place for us where there are no tears or sorrow.
