Compassion

Isaiah 58:11

Isaiah 58:11

The LORD will continually guide you, and satisfy your desire in scorched places, and give strength to your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.

After Thought

A bit lost, confused and thirsty, this young Koala gladly received the help offered by this fireman during the Australian brush fires of 2009. Compassion is the noble desire to help and the care to cause no harm.

So show your love for the alien, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt.

Jesus taught the Golden Rule that reminds us to treat others in the same way we would want to be treated (Matt. 7:12). That theme was depicted in a very popular movie that is humorously depicted in today's picture. Do you remember it?

And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.
