2 Samuel 9:3

2 Samuel 9:3
The king asked, Is there no one still alive from the house of Saul to whom I can show God’s kindness? Ziba answered the king, There is still a son of Jonathan; he is lame in both feet.
2 Samuel 9:3

After Thought

As a boy, Mephibosheth, fell and was lame for the remainder of his days. King David invited him to dwell in his palace and decreed that he would always eat at his table and be cared for. Compassion, is love seasoned with a good measure of humility and is focused beyond ourselves to the needs of others.

Grace: More Than We Deserve, Greater Than We Imagine by Max Lucado

Max Lucado asks a deeper question: Have you been changed by grace? Shaped by grace? Strengthened by grace? Emboldened by grace? Softened by grace? Grace comes after you. It rewires you. From insecure to God secure. From regret riddled to better-because-of-it. From afraid to die to ready to fly.
